We booked the gourmet lunch, and there were two options on the website. Early seating where you will be seated first for lunch while the late seating will be offered an appetizer waiting for the first group to finish their lunch. Once we were done with our entree, we were moved to different car to get the desert and the coffee. The lunch was good, but the short ribs plate was amazing. Yiu can bring your own wine bottle, and the server will serve it for you. The wine trian Is all about the experience. Yes, you might not enjoy the scenery, as was mentioned in previous reviews.

We booked a tour on the Wine Train in Napa Valley. It's a 6-hour tour that included a welcome picture, ride by the Rails Arts District (RAD), 4-course dining, and multiple wine tastings on the train and at two different vineyards, Charles Krug and V. Great Experience for a 49 Birthday. Professional staff and they where keeping me in the Birthday Celebritory mood. I recommend this for an occasion. The train has so much character and old romantic vibes.

This was the highlight of our first girls trip to Napa! I had really low expectations as I thought it's mostly going to be an instagrammable train ride with some mediocre snacks but was pleasantly surprised the whole experience was outstanding. We were told this business is actually first and foremost a restaurant and it shows that they take pride in the quality of their food. We chose the afternoon tea with champagne option. While it was pricy, everything was beautifully executed. Boarding process was efficient, the service was great, ambiance definitely lived up to the hype with gorgeous floral decor and velvet seats with views of Napa valley vineyards all around. Last but not least - the food. This afternoon tea experience rivaled some of those that I've had in London. It is a set menu but they were able to accommodate one of the girls with fully vegan and gluten free options. We all left with full happy tummies. Of note - it's not their fault but at times the ride was quite bumpy. If you are bothered by motion sickness they do sell Dramamine in the gift shop.
